You walk from the train station in Görlitz through the southern part of the town, the Pomological Garden, then parallel to the railroad embankment to the northern beach at Berzdorfer See. Along the way, you will pass sights and playgrounds and walk through beautiful green spaces.

Directions
From the railway station in Görlitz walk along Kunnerwitzer Straße to Sechsstädteplatz. Then continue walking via Arndtstraße to Kreuzkirchenpark, where it is recommended to have a short break to romp in the playground. Now the way takes you through gardens to "Loenschen Park". You will walk through forests, past the animal home and small ponds and reach Weinhübler Straße (Hauptstraße). Follow Weinhübler Straße to the signposting to north-east beach at Berzdorf Lake. It is also possible to walk on the hiking trail through the forest that runs parallel to the street. At the signposting to the north-east beach, cross the street and follow the course of the street to the lake. The final section to the north-east beach you will walk along the lake.
If you do not want to walk back, it is possible to take the public transport from the north-east beach (from May till October). Take bus line E to Weinhübel. In Weinhübel change to the tram, which goes to the railway station. For further information: https://www.goerlitztakt.de/de/
