The Saar-Hunsrück Trail runs from Perl on the Moselle to the gemstone metropolis of Idar-Oberstein and the Roman city of Trier.

Follow the hiking route in southwestern Germany on winding paths, through romantic stream valleys and mysterious forests, over steep rocks and bright orchards. Experience repeatedly the distant views from the Hunsrück heights. Experience the unique and varied landscape. After Grimburg at Keller Steg, the route splits and you have the option to hike to Trier or Idar-Oberstein.
