The Saarland Cycle Route (ADFC quality cycle route 3 stars) takes you partly along old towpaths once around the beautiful Saarland. Besides historic towns such as Saarbrücken and St. Wendel, you will see impressive landscapes in the Black Forest High Forest and the Saargau. Attractions such as the UNESCO World Heritage Site Völklingen Ironworks are scattered along the way and invite you to discover them.
