Welcome to the Bergdörfer Trail—a varied hike around the charming villages of Bitzen and Forst, which locals affectionately refer to simply as “the mountain.”

Gentle ascents, green valleys, and the constant babbling of the Holperbach and Bellingerbach streams accompany you through an idyllic landscape.

Along the way, you’ll be treated to magnificent views from the Kanzelsley in Bitzen and the Wusthahn in Forst—perfect spots to pause and take it all in.
