Small Geitau snowshoe route

A small route for snowshoe beginners and enjoyment hikers with many culinary dining options. Very beautiful and varied snowshoe hike. A valley hike suitable in all weather, snow, and avalanche conditions. Dining options in Geitau are Gasthof Aiplspitz, Postgasthof Rote Wand, and Hasenöhrl Hof (Sundays only for brunch). Under very poor visibility conditions in the off-trail meadow area, it is recommended to walk along the cross-country ski trail—but please not in the ski track! When crossing the ski trail, be sure to watch for fast skaters.
