Circle an entire federal state in one day. Where else can you do that except in Saarland? But the more important question is: who can do it? Answer: basically anyone!

For this, the "Saarlandswine" was created by the cycling club Überherrn. A route that can be ridden continuously with a road bike. You pedal a little over 300 km along the border of Saarland and leave behind 3,600 meters of elevation gain. The creators of the Saarlandswine, whose name refers to the shape of the tracked route (including a snout reaching toward Luxembourg), have carved out the most interesting roads from the street network. Always with an eye on what makes a road cyclist's heart beat faster: low-traffic roads, curves, scenic variety, moderate and sometimes challenging climbs. Along the route, there are also occasional supply points.

If you manage it, you're lucky. The best Saarland circuit riders can then immortalize themselves in the hall of fame on the website. Those who want to ride it in the company of like-minded people have the opportunity once a year at the big Saarlandswine Ride-Out.
