The accessible hiking trail starts at the parking lot in Salem. There, the Salemer See lake welcomes its arriving guests. The sweeping view across the lake will delight any nature lover. The hiking trail now leads along the shore and offers many wonderful views. Seats to linger and information boards give the hiker an insight into the local nature.
After approx. 2 km, the glistening Pipersee lake appears. Its lakeside path is surrounded by large trees. Small niches offer a romantic view of the lake. At the end of the Pipersee, the hiking trail ends at a parking lot. The Schaalsee camp is located in the immediate vicinity.
