Gekommen, um zu bleiben! Die Sammlung Siegel in Stade

More than 100 works provide a compact access to around 60 years of art history and invite visitors to discover classical modernism from a personal perspective. The "Siegel Collection" has grown over decades out of passion, driven by the joy of discovery and responsible preservation. Since the early 1980s, Arnd and Erika Siegel have gathered works that tell stories of breakthroughs in art and testify to quiet as well as loud times. In 2010, the collection was first presented at the Kunsthaus Stade under the title "Dialogue with Modernism" and will be continuously expanded until 2025. With its transfer to the Hanseatic city of Stade and the Stade Museum Association, a new phase begins: The holdings will be permanently accessible as public cultural assets.
