From April 25, 2026, the Varus Battle Museum will be presenting a new special exhibition 
a unique show with more than 1000 top-class objects from two extraordinary sites in the German-Danish border region: the Thorsberg and Nydam moors.Countless weapons, pieces of equipment and everyday objects were dumped there between the 2nd and 5th centuries.
 
The exhibition follows the relics of past battles to the warriors to whom they once belonged. At many interactive stations for young and old, visitors can join in, explore and get to the bottom of the mystery of the past.
