Badesee Wipshausen

The Wipshausen swimming lake is called the Wipshausen gravel pit and is therefore not a natural lake, but one that was created as a result of gravel extraction. The lake’s shores are overgrown with bushes and numerous trees, which provide welcome shade on hot days. There is a small sandy beach with a gently sloping shore that is especially popular with families with children.
The Wipshausen bathing lake is called Wipshausener Kieskuhle and is therefore not a natural lake, but a lake that was created as a result of gravel extraction.
