Kück's Hoff - Moor cheese and more
Welcome to our farm in Forstort-Anfang!
We are the fourth generation to run our farm, located right in the Gnarrrenburger Moor, not far from the Huvenhoopsmoor Nature Reserve.
Our modern barn, home to about 120 dairy cows, and nearly all of our pastureland are located right in the raised bog. We’re committed to sustainable and environmentally friendly forage production.
Where is the cheese made?
Our cheese is made right here on-site using traditional methods. In addition, Heidi’s mobile cheese dairy from Elsdorf regularly stops by, processing our milk directly in her trailer into our unique moor cheese.

Where can you buy our cheese?
You can purchase the cheese daily from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in our self-service store. All varieties are pre-packaged. Our farm store is open every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Here, the Moorkäse is packaged right at the fresh food counter and sliced upon request. We also offer fresh cheese salad every Saturday.

- Fenugreek moor cheese with a delicate, nutty flavor
- Tomato-basil moor cheese with a fresh, Mediterranean flavor
- Wild garlic moor cheese with a spicy, spring-like flavor (seasonal—available only in spring and summer)
- Three-Pepper Moor Cheese with a spicy, savory flavor

What else do we have to offer?
In addition to cheese, we also offer our Moorkartoffeln, homemade Moormeladen and spices, as well as a selection of fresh and regional products (seasonal fruits and vegetables, meat and sausage products, honey, eggs, wine, juices, and coffee) from the region. We partner with regional sales partners. You’re also welcome to put together a gift basket with us.

Openings
- Our self-service store is open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., you can also visit our small farm stand and sample our cheese right here.

- A visit to our self-service showroom and farm store is, of course, free of charge. The prices for our cheese and other products are posted on-site.

Directions & Parking facilities
- The small village of Forstort-Anfang is located in the north-western part of the district of Rotenburg (Wümme), in the municipality of Gnarrenburg.
By car:
From Bremen, take the A27 motorway towards Bremerhaven (Bremen-Nord exit) and the B74 via Osterholz-Scharmbeck to Gnarrenburg. From here, simply follow the signs to Zeven until you reach Glinstedt. From there, continue in the direction of Augustendorf.
From Bremerhaven, take the A 27 motorway towards Bremen (exit Beverstedt) and then the B 71. In Basdahl, turn off towards Osterholz-Scharmbeck and follow the B 74 to Kuhstedt and from there follow the signs to Gnarrenburg. From here, simply follow the signs to Zeven until you reach Glinstedt. From there, follow the signs to Augustendorf.
From Hamburg, follow the A1 motorway in the direction of Bremen, take the Elsdorf exit and from there drive via Zeven in the direction of Gnarrenburg. Shortly before Gnarrenburg you will reach Glinstedt. From there, follow the signs to Augustendorf.
By public transport:
There are bus connections from Bremen, Bremervörde and Zeven to Gnarrenburg and the beginning of the forest. You can find more information here: www.vbn.de Social Media

- Why not combine shopping on our farm with a short walk to the Forstort-Anfang moor tower or a visit to the approx. 2 km long Huvenhoopsmoor moor adventure trail in the nearby village of Augustendorf.
