Steinsdorf Church near Weida

Their construction was linked to the increasing spread of the church in the region, which accompanied the development of the region in the 12th and 13th centuries. The village church, which has been redesigned in more recent times, is located at the centre of the village. It is still very easy to recognise an old Romanesque window. The interior is designed in the spirit of later times. The stained-glass windows were installed shortly after the Second World War. Only the wooden crucifix dates back to the late medieval period. It came from the former triumphal arch.
