A "completely natural" rally through Neuastenberg

Take the challenge, a total of 19 exciting stations await you on this approximately 3-kilometer nature and adventure hike. Get to know a beautiful and historically rich village in a different way, and let your eyes be opened to a beautiful spot and natural experiences that you might otherwise simply have walked past. Just lace up your hiking boots and let yourself be guided a little. For example, on this "guided" route you can learn which sports are offered in Neuastenberg, how tourism works, and – quite practically – when the tourist office is open.

Sharpen your senses and test your knowledge about nature! Which natural sounds can you recognize with closed eyes, and what are the hiking signs of the Sauerland Mountain Association all about? Which leaves belong to which tree or to which shrub at the roadside? How old is a particular spruce, how old are the mother trees behind it? Discover an area that the Kyrill hurricane "cleared" a few years ago and dive into history with questions about the pinge and the landwehr. Also get to know a section of the Rothaarsteig. This path is also called the "Path of the Senses" and runs from Brilon to Dillenburg. You will explore a section of the Rothaarsteig with wonderful views of the land of a thousand mountains during your adventure rally.
