Directions
We walk from the train station towards the town and turn right onto Elsterstraße after 250 m. We follow this street to the Elstergarten outdoor pool. The ground consists of paving slabs or asphalt. To the left side of the pool, a footpath leads to the entrance of the pool. The surface on this short stretch is compacted fine gravel. From the pool entrance, the footpath continues to Fabrikstraße and further to B92, where we turn left. After a few meters, we turn left again onto Hirtengäßchen. We follow this path and later the street Am Jahnteich until the traffic light intersection B92/S303. We cross this intersection so that we can continue the walk on the left side of the S303. At the Persiluhr, we turn left towards Heppeplatz. There, we reach Bahnhofstraße, which we follow back to the train station. The ground is asphalted or consists of slabs. The condition of the sidewalks frequently requires repairs.
There is no restaurant along the route. We would like to point out the snack bar in the pool. Unfortunately, it is only open during the season. There is an accessible toilet at the Elstergarten outdoor pool.
