Afterwork: From Bayrischzell to Forsthaus Valepp

The route is also known as the circular route around the Rotwand. It runs variedly over paved roads, wide and narrow forest roads. Along the way, you experience the most beautiful views of the mountains and valley, along the Rote Valepp and past Spitzingsee. For a break, the Forsthaus Valepp is recommended as it lies roughly halfway and has an inviting sun terrace, cozy dining room, and rooms. On the way back, there are numerous other opportunities to stop for refreshments, for example in Aurach, Geitau, Osterhofen or Bayrischzell. 

Of course, the route can also be started from Forsthaus Valepp, Spitzingsee or Geitau. Those who prefer paved roads can cycle the route from Bayrischzell via Spitzingstraße to Forsthaus Valepp as a round trip.
