Afterwork: sunrise or sunset route with a view of Spitzingsee

This easy mountain route is perfect as a short sunrise route to start the day or as an atmospheric evening round at sunset. In the morning, it's worth setting out early: the first sun rays bathe the valley in warm light and provide energy for the day. In the evening, the sunset transforms the peaks around Spitzingsee into a special backdrop, ideal for ending the workday in nature. From Stümpfling, you can reach the Untere Firstalm or the Jagahüttn to stop for a meal. Depending on the time and opening hours, you can also take your snack with you to start or end the day with a refreshment. The paths are easy to walk; in the dark, sufficient lighting should definitely be carried. Please also note that the sun rises and sets later/earlier in the mountains than in the city, and do not do the route alone if you have no mountain experience.

The distance is not far and can be managed without major difficulties – ideal for fitting movement, nature, and mountain atmosphere even into a fully planned workday.
