Afterwork: To the pools and waterfalls in the Pfanngraben

Not only on hot days are the waterfalls in the Pfanngraben a beautiful excursion destination and a little insider tip. The path leads through the gorge, along the rushing water, which repeatedly collects in large pools and finds its way down the valley in waterfalls. The trail is easy to walk and wide; in some places, you can easily reach the shore. As a short hike, follow the path always towards Rotwand, find a nice spot by the water to rest before returning by the same route. Those who want to extend the route follow the signs to Rotwand and reach the summit after about a 3-hour ascent. At the top, you not only get a wonderful view from the highest peak of the Spitzing area, but a stop at the Rotwandhaus is also highly recommended.
