In the footsteps of Archduke Johann. The circuit is named after the Erzherzog Johann Klause in the neighboring Tyrol / Austria and represents about half of the route.
The route itself is demanding and only suitable for experienced riders with good fitness and strength. It is long, has many climbs, some very steep, such as the ascent to Kühzagl, and partly paths of less than optimal quality, such as from Erzherzog Johann Klause up to Bayralm.
However: it offers rare views of the Mangfall mountains towards the Wilder Kaiser and the Inn valley. It also allows you to explore the entire south of the Alpenregion Tegernsee-Schliersee. Additionally, you have the opportunity to swim in three lakes (Spitzingsee, Tegernsee, Schliersee), so don't forget your swimwear.
