By train to the mountains: outing with the kids to Oedberg

You can easily get to Gmund by train – and quickly to the valley with the summer toboggan run. Since Gmund station is located directly on Lake Tegernsee, the temptation to jump straight into the water is great. But it’s best to save the beach visit for the end of the day after all the action. At Oedberg, there is also a climbing garden, an adventure playground, and a petting zoo. So better start directly towards the summer toboggan run instead.
