Experience the typical wildlife of the Bavarian Forest in the Animal enclosures

Lynxes, ural owl, wolves, wisent, otters, bears, or capercaillies: Amidst the emerging forest wilderness, you can observe around 40 mammal and bird species on over 200 hectares. The animals are housed in spacious, natural enclosures and aviaries, almost like in the wild – with plenty of retreat options for the animal residents. A seven-kilometer circular trail, which you should take three to four hours to visit, invites you to explore. Shortcuts are possible. The terrain is suitable for strollers and wheelchairs, cleared in winter, and freely accessible year-round.

Note: There are no fixed feeding times.
