In close contact with nature, hikers discover impressive rock formations along the rock path, experience natural elements on the barefoot path, and cross "babbling" streams on stepping stones. The archaic Römerburg with its eerie Celtic sanctuary on the roadside culturally enriches the path.

The rock path is located in the Losheim districts of Scheiden and Waldhölzbach. Massive rock formations, spectacular views, two romantic stream valleys, the “Römerburg” with remains of a medieval castle complex, a Celtic sanctuary, two Kneipp facilities, the beautifully situated barefoot path, some newly created forest paths, and numerous orchard meadows: boredom does not arise on this eventful hike.

The path was chosen as Hiking Trail of the Year 2005. The rock path was rated with 100 experience points by the German Hiking Institute.
