Starting in Miesbach, the route follows the signposted cycling network along the Schlierach and Schliersee on quiet and safe paths to Neuhaus. Between Haidmühl and Agatharied, you pass a section of quiet, paved paths that are closed to car traffic. Along the route, there are many places for short breaks, for example at the playground on the Schlierach or at the ice cream parlor in Hausham. Just before Schliersee, you can decide whether to make a detour into the town of Schliersee to rent boats and SUPs and paddle on the lake, or spend the day on the lakeside and the adventure playground on the promenade. Continuing the route, it goes along the west shore of Schliersee. There, you also pass the Westerberg bathing beach, from where an adventure trail leads to the Rixneralm and invites you to rest. In Neuhaus on the south shore of Schliersee lies the Markus Wasmeier Open-Air Museum Schliersee, which takes you back to past rural life and Bavarian culture and traditions. At the end of the tour are the Josefsthal waterfalls, which are accessible via a short footpath.
