The Reisach water castle in the Mangfall valley is located in a beautiful park that invites you to picnic and relax. The path there runs along the Schlierach and on car-free paths. Nearby are hiking trails, bathing spots on the stream bank, a playground, and the Thalham-Reisach nature experience trail.

Starting and ending the route in Miesbach, you cycle a beautiful and varied round, passing the Reisach water castle. The roads around the water castle are closed to motor vehicle traffic, and the area is especially popular as an excursion destination for families. The beautiful park with various sculptures and shaded picnic benches invites you to linger. From there, you can also start the nature experience trail to Thalham, which leads past bathing spots on the stream bank, a playground, and information and puzzle boards. Those who prefer good catering continue and stop at the Hofcafé Krauthof, which you pass on the way back to Miesbach. The cozy café offers homemade delicacies, a comfortable dining room, and a sunny terrace in the garden. From there, the route leads via Schweinthal back to the starting point in Miesbach. The route can also end nicely in the town center, for example, at the ice cream café at the market square.
