On this route, you can get to know traditional craft businesses and regional products directly from local producers. The paths lead over roads, fields and cycle paths through a hilly, natural landscape with the romantic Elstertal and the Fuchsbach valley.Â
The ride starts in Neumühle/Elster. Here a detour to the Nitschareuth Farmers' Museum is worthwhile. The farm shop route itself initially leads to Waltersdorf to the Museum and Holiday Farm. In Berga/Elster, you can visit the demonstration workshop of the Easter Path Vogtland. With the Zickra Culture Farm and the Clodramühle , Berga offers further special features in its districts.
In Endschütz, there is a wild romantic manor, which invites you four times a year to craft markets or to a picturesque vintage holiday. On the way to Ronneburg, there are further opportunities to get to know regional products & traditions. One of these is the Kauern farm shop, which houses, in addition to a wide range of regional producers, a cow café.

The 50 km long 'Farm Shop Route' in the eastern Thuringian district of Greiz connects Neumühle in the south with the town of Ronneburg in the north. On this route, you can experience a charming landscape with small and idyllic villages. Along the route there are numerous traditional craft businesses and farm shops that offer the wide range of regional agriculture. This ranges from potteries to a game farm, the Iris Garden, farm cafés and a sheep's cheese dairy to the traditional farm shop. As an alternative to the 50 km route, there is the possibility to visit farm shops and craft businesses on a 25 km circular route.

You can reach Neumühle via the A9 exit Gera/Leumnitz, following the B92 towards Greiz to the Neumühle (Elster) junction at the Daßlitzer Kreuz.
Public parking is available in the area of Neumühle (Elster) station.

A former open-cast mine in Ronneburg was transformed into a newly designed area with a beautiful landscape park and many interesting details on the occasion of the Federal Garden Show 2007.
In Rückersdorf, you should visit the Nature Adventure Island with ecologically valuable biotopes. Information boards inform you about the most important stations on the site.Â
