The tour begins in Leisnig. On the market square, next to the town hall, the "Dancing Apples" water playground is a fun starting point for the little tour members.
The Podelwitz moated castle is also worth a stop. It is home to the Heimatstuben, where you will find a unique collection of regional history.
A highlight of the tour is the trip on the historic cable ferry to Höfgen, the village of the senses. Information on departure times can be found here: grimma.de/kultur-und-tourismus/entdeckungen/muldeschifffahrt-und-faehre
