The bike route from Döbeln to Großbothen runs for about 34 kilometers along the idyllic Freiberger Mulde. Already in Döbeln, the St. Nicolaikirche and the historic town hall invite you to explore.
After a few kilometers, you reach the impressive Kloster Buch, a former Cistercian monastery that, in addition to farmers' markets and exhibitions, also offers numerous art workshops and readings. In the small town of Leisnig, the imposing Burg Mildenstein towers high above the river and offers magnificent views. The Leisnig cultural station also hosts a summer of music full of concerts and international artists.
Another highlight along the route is the romantic Wasserschloss Podelwitz, which invites you to linger with its gastronomy and events such as music evenings and rum tastings.
