The route takes you along the beautiful floodplain landscape to places of German literary history, parks and beautiful viewpoints.

As the birthplace of the poet Joachim Ringelnatz, Wurzen also bears the unofficial nickname Ringelnatzstadt. You can follow in Ringelnatz's footsteps along the "Ringelnatz Trail" on the market square or visit the poet's birthplace.

Another highlight of the tour is Canitz Park. On a "journey through time" from the Stone Age to the Slavic period, you will discover the everyday life of our Slavic and Germanic ancestors in the extensive park with its museum, nature and themed gardens.
