Hike through the Trieb and Elster valley to the Elster valley bridge over the Julius-Mosen tower with fascinating views of the Pöhl Dam back to the dam wall.

On this hike, you can discover the beauty of the untouched natural landscape of the low mountain range Vogtland from the Pöhl Dam. The area is characterized by its impressive rock formations and its diverse flora and fauna. It is no coincidence that the term "Vogtland Switzerland" was coined for this region.

First, you will cross the nature reserve Trieb valley/Eisenberg, which impresses with moss-covered rocks in the stream and roaring waterfalls. Then continue to the Elster valley bridge, the second largest brick bridge in the world. Through the Elster valley, you hike past the Lochbauer via Eisenberg back to the starting point. At the end of the tour, you will find another highlight: the 14m high Julius-Mosen Tower with breathtaking views.
