Hike up the Görlitz local mountain Landeskrone (420 m above sea level) with impressive viewpoints and a monument.

Directly on the German Unity long-distance hiking trail (Blue Dot) is the Görlitz local mountain Landeskrone (420 m above sea level). The Landeskrone is a nature reserve (approx. 50 hectares). Along the paths there are many display boards informing about the flora and fauna of the mountain. You reach the Lindenallee via Aufgangstraße. Continue up the stairs and then proceed on the road directly towards the summit. You pass the hexagonal basalt columns typical of the region.
From the summit of the mountain you have a breathtaking panoramic view of the town, the Berzdorfer See and the mountain ranges of the Zittau, Iser and Riesengebirge. The Ještěd with its distinctive observation tower and the Śnieżka (approx. 70 km straight line) can be seen in good visibility. Not far from the summit is a monument, the Bismarck Tower. From here you have a beautiful view of the Berzdorfer See.
