- Start: Arnsdorf railway station
- Destination: Arnsdorf railway station
South of Arnsdorf is the Karswald, which together with the adjoining forests forms a large contiguous wooded area. The Karswald circular route leads through this large, almost mystical forest. It passes over long stretches through the Karswald to the Schwarzes Roß inn, where a stopover is recommended, and also to the Karswald outdoor pool. The path is consistently marked with a green dot as the sign.

Directions
From the station, it first goes past the municipal office in the direction of the Karswald outdoor pool. Behind the outdoor pool, the hiking trail turns onto Mühlenweg, which leads the hiker along the Schwarze Röder river into the Karswald. After passing under the railway line, the trail runs south to the next intersection. Now the hiking path turns onto the Jagdweg, which takes us to Fischbach, a district of the municipality of Arnsdorf. The route continues through the village, past the Fischbach community center, further south until we reach the traditional inn "Schwarzes Roß" on Bautzner Landstraße (B 6). After crossing the federal road, the path follows the road to Wilschdorf for a short distance until it turns right again towards the Karswald. Now you follow Hörnelweg to the middle of the Karswald, crossing the Hörnelweg bridge. On the H path, you finally return back to Arnsdorf.
