Now it's off to Wilsede to Hannibal's grave. At the beginning of the 20th century, friends of the heath in Hanover saw the painting "Hannibal's Grave" by Eugen Bracht in the museum. When they walked through the heath shortly afterwards, past the group of stones and junipers (Billungstein), they were struck by the similarity to the painting. They all agreed: Hannibal's grave in the heath. The name spread quickly and is still used today.
From there, the path leads to Wilsede. The route continues via Meningen and Wesel, on to Wehlen and Ehrhorn. Past the forest adventure center, the route follows through the forest via Einem and Niederhaverbeck to Tütsberg. Perhaps the Heidschnucken sheep are at the sheepfold there. Via Behringen it is not far to the end of the tour in Bispingen.
