Over water and land to Gansgrün

You park at the car park at the Wassersportzentrum of the Talsperre Pöhl and walk past the climbing forest to the anchor point. Here you start with one of our passenger ships for a trip over the Talsperre Pöhl with a beautiful view of the shore landscapes. The trip to the landing stage at the Liegewiese Gansgrün takes about 35 minutes. Here you will find refreshment options. Across a small street, you reach the village center of Gansgrün and the western part of the Talsperrenrundweg. From here, the route continues along an idyllic forest path to the village of Helmsgrün, above the large FKK beach of the Talsperre Pöhl. On the shore of the Helmsgrün bay, you reach the castle peninsula with further refreshment options, a large playground, a leisure raft, and a surfing and sailing school. Then you continue along the shore of the reservoir past the bungalow settlement Rodlera. Across the bungalow settlement Neudörfel, you reach the bank promenade Jocketa with a long sunbathing lawn, refreshment options, and the leisure and adventure garden with playground, muddy track, and mini-golf course. The highlight is the walk across the imposing dam wall of the Talsperre Pöhl. Past the anchor point with snack bar, climbing forest, and boat rental, you return to the start and finish: the Wassersportzentrum with its large playground, beach volleyball courts, the Panorama restaurant, and a large car park.

On the A 72 from the direction of Bavarian Vogtland, please take the Plauen-East exit (7) and from the direction of Chemnitz take the Treuen exit (8) and follow the signs to the Talsperre Pöhl.

Please use the paid car park Wassersportzentrum between the Gunzenberg campsite and the climbing forest.
