The starting point of this short hike is the hiking car park at Talpenberg, a district of the town of Elstra. The route leads around the Schwarzenberg and offers numerous natural landscape highlights. For several years, the mountain has had the "Black Mountain Bike Park" with several downhill tracks for mountain bikers. At many parts of the hiking trail, you can get insights into this sport and simultaneously avoid direct conflict with the mountain bikers.

Directions & Parking facilities
You can reach Talpenberg via the A4, Burkau exit. Follow the S94 north towards Kamenz until you turn left onto the S105 following the signs to Elstra. Following the road, you will reach the ring road, from which you turn right onto Talpenberger Straße. Then you will reach the Talpenberg hiking car park.

The Talpenberg stop is connected by a bus line to the town square in Elstra. The bus only runs on weekdays. For exact information about your connection, please visit the ZVON website.
