This winter hike will definitely keep you warm - the ascent to Kesselalm takes care of that. At the top, a cozy stop and a stunning panoramic view of the Leitzach valley await you.

The path is easy to find and is the same on the way there and back. The starting point is Fischbachau Birkenstein; from here the path is signposted towards Kesselalm/Breitenstein. The path initially runs through the forest, later through more open terrain up to Kesselalm. There is a small chapel nearby – from there you have a wonderful view down into the Leitzach valley.
