Das Musical "COME FROM AWAY - die von woanders"
The Musical Amateur Project Osnabrück (MAP) presents "COME FROM AWAY - those from elsewhere", a special musical full of touching stories and heart-wrenching moments COME FROM AWAY is based on the true story of the few days when the remote small town of Gander, Newfoundland, hosted and sheltered people from all over the world. What began as a normal day turned into an unprecedented relief effort when, on September 11, 2001, nearly forty planes carrying thousands of people from around the world were diverted to the large but barely used Gander Airport.
With over 100 performers on and behind the stage, the amateur musical project presents a Broadway musical with rousing live music and takes the audience on a journey that shows that hospitality, solidarity and humanity can give hope in times of crisis.
Playing time: Total duration including introduction: 2.5 hours (playing time 2 hours, no intermission)
Admission: 20 minutes before the start (1 hour before in the foyer)
Age recommendation: 12 years and older
