DAVID Lounge

In the former beer garden, the cosy winter garden in the Walhalla Altstadtcarré now offers space for the independent DAVID Lounge Bar. It has existed since 2008 and is named after its founder Günter David. He bought the old Walhalla in the mid-80s as a passionate restaurateur and hotelier and breathed fresh air into the old building. Today, the lounge is a household name in the Osnabrück gastronomy scene and beyond. The David Lounge offers outdoor seating in the garden in summer and a bar and tables by the fireplace all year round. As a satellite kitchen to our main kitchen, the kitchen specialises in cooking light Mediterranean and international dishes that are uncomplicated and fresh. The bar offers everything you would expect from a good hotel bar, from a wide selection of whisk(e)ys, gins and vodkas to the cocktail classics. The bar is also open after the kitchen closes.
