Difficult route with long climbs

For those who want to explore Tegernsee and Schliersee in one day by mountain bike, the Prinzenweg route is highly recommended. For those wishing to do the same but with a higher difficulty level, this beautiful route with some steep ascents is recommended. The climb to Kühzagl Pass is not easy; it is steep, long, and very demanding. Initially, up to the Dürnbach hiking parking lot, there is a small chance to warm up, but then it goes up the steep paths. The descent toward Rottach-Egern also demands a lot; the narrow path is very steep but a dream for passionate riders!

From Tegernsee, it becomes a bit calmer and more comfortable. Here you are now on the Prinzenweg, which is a bit more pleasant and less demanding.

All in all, a great route with huge potential for training progress due to the Kühzagl Pass.
