A Falconry Hermann Flight Demonstrations
Experience the fascination of birds of prey and owls up close in the 45-minute show. Watch spectacular dives of falcons, the majestic flight of eagles high in the sky, and feel the silent flight of owls just above your head. April - November daily (except Mondays) from 3:00 p.m.
B Pfaffengut Plauen
Learning and relaxation for children and adults are combined with active engagement in nature. Various offers have been created for this, such as "From Grain to Bread" and nature-oriented pottery. On a nature trail, you can encounter the European wildcat in the wild. The Pfaffengut Plauen e.V. support association looks forward to your visit.
C Pfaffenmühle Restaurant
The restaurant is located in the forest and is optimally suited for a stop with a spacious beer garden. There is an animal enclosure with fallow deer. During the summer months, the dwarf goat enclosure is open, and a nice playground invites children to romp and play during the break. Railway exhibition from December to March.
D Elstertal Bridge
The Elstertal Bridge is a railway bridge in Saxony. It carries the Leipzig - Hof railway line near Jocketa (in the Saxon Vogtland district) over the valley of the White Elster. It is considered the second largest brick bridge in the world after the Göltzsch valley bridge. (Length 279 meters, largest span of an arch 31.1 meters). The Elster valley railway runs under the 68-meter-high bridge.
E Intarsia Lounge Zahn Gallery and Show Workshop
The gallery and show workshop offers insights into the more than 3,000-year-old craftsmanship technique of intarsia. Visitors experience how unique masterpieces are created when woods with different structures are assembled into images.
