- Start: Görlitz - Old Town Bridge
- Destination: Görlitz - Berzdorfer See access
The bike route starts at the Old Town Bridge in Görlitz and takes you via the "Oder-Neisse Cycle Path" to Hagenwerder and Tauchritz up to the Blue Lagoon at Berzdorfer See. In Tauchritz, there is a remarkable Baroque church from 1686 and a water castle from the second half of the 17th century with a castle park. The route continues along the cycle path at Berzdorfer See to the Berzdorfer See/Görlitz access road. From there, you can cycle back to the center of Görlitz. Make a stop at the lake before heading back to the city and enjoy the sound of the waves.
Along the route you will find interesting sights, impressive nature, and many places to stop for refreshments. For example, you should visit the open-air museum with the excavator 1452, which recalls the brown coal mining.
