Rothenburg – Görlitz on the Neisse Cycle Route – Görlitz Station - return by train to Horka (hourly service) Horka Rothenburg by bike approx. 6 km

On the well-signed Oder-Neisse Cycle Route you cycle about 25 kilometers from Rothenburg to Görlitz. The cycle path runs partly close to the Neisse. There are various rest and refreshment options along the route. After 25 kilometers you reach Görlitz. The historic town on the Neisse is a true gem with over 3500 restored monuments. The medieval old town, crossed by cobbled alleys, invites you to stroll with many cafes and shops. Especially recommended is a visit to the Gründerzeit district and the Nikolaivorstadt with the over 550-year-old church and the romantically wild cemetery. From Görlitz station there is an hourly train to Horka. From Horka station it is now about 6 km to Rothenburg by bike.
