By train to the mountains: via Agatharied to the Stadlberg

The Stadlberg is the local mountain of Agatharied and a little insider tip. Mainly locals are out here. There are not many meters of elevation to overcome on the loop. And yet it offers wonderful views over the Alpine foothills. In addition, the Stadlbergalm offers an excellent stop with high-quality cuisine (observe opening hours) and shortly before you loop back to the station, the Erlebnisdestillerie Lantenhammer lies more or less directly on the way. In one of the most modern distilleries in Europe, you can join tours, taste fine spirits and of course shop.
