Rothenburg – Culture island on the Neiße cycle route – Bielawa Dolna – Piensk – Deschka – Rothenburg on the Neiße cycle route

The route first leads south on the Oder-Neiße cycle route to the Culture Island Einsiedel in Zentendorf. Here, a pontoon bridge was built over the Neiße, allowing you to cross to the Polish side with your bike. Quiet forest paths lead to Bielawa Dolna (formerly Nieder – Bielau) with a small playground, treehouse, and "fate boards." A little further on, Bar Lesna offers a chance to take a break. On the country road heading south, you will reach Piensk (formerly Penzig) after about 6 km. Here, there is a pedestrian and bicycle bridge to cross the Neiße. On the German side, you cycle back on the Oder-Neiße cycle route to Rothenburg. Near Zentendorf, a detour to the easternmost point of Germany is worthwhile.
