This circular hiking route allows you to experience the town of Colditz, the Mulde landscape with attractive villages, and the Colditz Forest in many ways. In addition to the Podelwitz Water Castle, this hike passes the Mulde confluence, Colditz Forest, Colditz Castle, and the historic Tiergarten. Part of the route even runs along the Saxon Luther Trail, crosses the Zwickauer Mulde, and ends at the Freiberger Mulde.
