Directions
The route begins at the marketplace in Dittersbach-Dürrröhrsdorf and follows the yellow dot into the Lieblingstal. Just before the forest edge, you pass the restored Hubertus Chapel, cross bridges and paths along the Schullwitzbach past various sculptures to the Teufelsbrücke, then turn left up Dittersbacher Street. You cross this and continue uphill to the Drei-Kastanien-Teich, a wonderful picnic spot with a view for parents and a swing for children.
From there, the signpost points to the Schöne Höhe with a tower and viewing platform. On Sundays, the Quandtverein often offers guided tours at the Belvedere. Adventurous visitors can take a detour of about 500 meters to the Zwergenhöhle beforehand. For the way back, follow the signs to the Teufelskanzel at the Wesenitz. Benches by the river invite you to rest here. Following the river back leads to Dittersbach.
