Dream loop Hirn-Gallenberg route

The wooden lookout tower with panoramic panels on Hirnberg offers a special 360-degree panoramic view: The gaze extends over Eimersdorf and Saarfels into the Saar valley. The Litermont, Schaumberg, and the Siersberg castle ruins are clearly visible. The nearby Gallenberg and Scheidberg as well as the villages of Gisingen and Rammelfangen are within reach. Slightly further away are the Lorraine villages Reming and Villing. The churches of Leidingen seem close enough to touch. On the descent, a panel recalls the former Rammelfangen vineyards. The old dry stone walls and terraces are still visible. In the valley floor, the route goes through the Weinbachtal. Along the "Lampersch-Burren," a wooden observation platform at a historic well facility offers a view into the seemingly untouched brook valley.

From Silwinger Platz with its blooming village coat of arms, the Weingartstraße is then walked. Here is the historic village well with a shelter and toilets. On the ascent to Gallenberg, first views of Gisingen appear. Shortly before the summit, a panel recalls the former quarry between Rammelfangen and Gisingen. A few minutes later, a fantastic view over the countryside. The Saar valley and the ridges behind it convey the beauty of a wonderful region.

Along the way, numerous benches are set up at the edge of the path for resting.
