Past manor houses, churches and castles

The approximately 80 km long Pleiße cycle path runs between the Zwickau region and the city of Leipzig along the river of the same name. The route takes us through the hilly Altenburg region and the Leipzig New Lakes District.

The Pleiße cycle path is especially recommended for long-distance routes. Due to the rather flat landscape, the route is classified as a cycle path of low difficulty and is therefore also well suited for families.
