Hearty meat and fish dishes based on regional cuisine, served on Bunzlau crockery.
Rustic, impressive guest rooms. A listed building with romantic and cozy rooms. The house is located in the oldest part of the town. Even before the town was founded, there was a creche here for travelers on the Via Regia.

Legend tells of a black, three-legged dog that always ran through the town on Christmas night between midnight and one o'clock and mysteriously disappeared again. Once, however, a guard is said to have tried to stop the dog at the town gate, but failed miserably. He is said to have paid for the attempt a little later with his premature death. The place where the dog got in and out of the town, the so-called Hundsloch, is now built over and can no longer be found. However, the name of the nearby inn is still a reminder of the strange incident.

The whole legend can be read here: The legend of the three-legged dog.
