Visit the sacred sights in Görlitz and Ostritz as well as in Herrnhut.

You start in Görlitz at the Holy Sepulchre complex, which consists of the double chapel of the Holy Cross, the Salbhaus, and the burial chapel. The entire complex is a replica of the most important parts of the great Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, a place of remembrance for the suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
From here, you cycle the Oder-Neisse cycle path for about 12.4 miles (20 km) to Ostritz to the St. Marienthal Monastery. The baroque complex of the Cistercian abbey Klosterstift St. Marienthal is an impressive place of faith, where Cistercian nuns have lived for 770 years according to the Rule of Benedict: Ora et labora (pray and work).
Your path then leads to Herrnhut. Herrnhut is the founding place of the Herrnhut Brethren congregation, internationally known for producing Herrnhut stars and its worldwide missionary work.
Finally, you return to Görlitz via Bernstadt, Schönau-Berzdorf, Pfaffendorf, and end the bike ride at the Peterskirche. High above the Neisse, the Peterskirche with the world-famous Sonnenorgel is the city's landmark.

This bike ride can also be done in two stages.
