Church
The Jacobi Church is a masterpiece of Gothic architecture and is one of the most important buildings in Göttingen.

Built between 1361 and 1459, the 72-metre-high tower with its baroque copper dome is impressive. It can also be climbed.

The interior was restored in 1998/99 based on the Renaissance model. Five new motif windows were installed on the north side. The valuable double-winged altar was created in 1402 by an unknown master.

The church is also a venue for concerts of all kinds; from March to December, there is half an hour of organ music on Fridays from 6.00 pm, usually free of charge.
