- Destination: Fürst Pückler Park, Bad Muskau
The route from Görlitz to Bad Muskau leads along the Neiße, through small villages to the UNESCO World Heritage Site (Fürst Pückler Park). Along the way, you can, for example, visit the easternmost point of Germany. Did you know that Görlitz, together with Oberstdorf, List, and Selfkant, is part of the Zipfelbund? If you stay overnight in Görlitz, you receive one of a total of 4 stamps needed to receive nice gifts from the Zipfel communities.
The easternmost point of Germany is located shortly before the village of Zentendorf on the Neiße. Behind Zentendorf, you will find another specialty, Kulturinsel Einsiedel. The 7-hectare leisure park was founded in 1992. Cultural events and festivals take place here, and it is possible to stay overnight in the treehouse. Another stop can be made in Rothenburg, where the aviation technology museum is located. Another museum can be found almost at your destination: the Handwerk- und Gewerbemuseum Sagar.
